Skincare Spoil (Clicks)
I recieved two late birthday presents last week; two Clicks vouchers, whoop whoop!
I was so excited because I've been desperately been wanting to invest more in skincare products because I've started thinking that skincare is first, makeup second. And, for good makeup application, you should have great skincare.
So, here's what I picked up, these defos did not fit into my vouchers' budgets, so I did put in money, but considering I put R430 in, I essentially got all of these for R430 which is bargainess!
I desperately needed to get myself a good toner and exfoliator. Those were on the top of my list. So I went for a relatively more pricey toner from Eucerin, the Dermo Purifyer Oil Control toner, because I think my skin is maturing and I need slightly richer products for my skin. I then got the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit daily scrub. This doesn't need to be too fancy, I enjoy this pink grapefruit range as I think it clear the skin well. The next thing I was very curious to try; an eye cream. I opted for the Lo'real Skin Perfector eye cream as it was the same price as the Neutrogena one, and I think Lo'real (being Lo'real), would be richer and a bit more luxurious.
I won't lie, the actual tube is a bit disappointing with regards to the packaging and looks, it looks a bit cheap. And it turns out this eye cream is tinted, so I'm hoping I didn't just buy a fancy concealer and not an eye cream I expected. I hope it will actually help to reduce puffiness under my already very puffy eyes...
Then I got masks! Oww yes, face masks. I was most excited about these because I got Charcoal ones that will hopefully target my blackheads and huge pores. I've keen to try out the Garnier 3-in-1 mask as I've seen it online a lot. But, I am super excited to try the Lo'real pure clay mask! I have been dying to try this range out, and so I got the tube, not the pot, as it's cheaper. And I can't wait to see the results!
Of course I had to get some makeup and it turns out to all be Maybelline things. I had to get a new Lash Sensational as it's my number one mascara and my current one is dry as a bone. I then decided to get the Maybelline Fit Me foundation and powder. Every time I go to the shops and look at this range they are always out of the lightest shade (which is of course me because I am a ghost). So, when I saw they had my shade (and the last one by the looks of it), I bit the bullet and spent the R200 on it (R99 for each). I haven't worn them just yet but I'm so excited, I'm expecting big things!
So, that's my little mini haul for you, I hope you enjoyed the read, and checking out my new things. I so excited to get using them, and probably film a skincare routine soon with my new products!
Would you want to see that?
