Drugstore Deals | Clicks
Hello, welcome to my blog!
Last Saturday I went to the shops, mainly because my boyfriend and I had to find a birthday present for his friend, but a per usual, I couldn't resist a little pop into Clicks. Hehe
Luckily I recently went on to Clicks' website and checked out their latest deals, so I told Mick I just needed to pick up a new shampoo and conditioner, but ended up picking up a few other things too. I can safely say Mick isn't a fan of shopping with me, so this was the quickest shop I think I've ever done in Clicks, and I'm sort of proud of my record time, so let me show you what I got because they were all on some sort of sale.
Clicks are really great with their 3 For 2 sales and discounted sales. There is always some deal going on, and I really appreciate it because you do end up saving some cash-dollar. Plus, I get to try out some new products... Yay!
So, here's everything I picked up - I stayed well away from the makeup counters because we all know that I would not have made it out in record time if I did stay to look. I take SO long looking at makeup, no one ever wants to shop with me because of it *cries inside* . If anyone out there loves to take their time looking at all the wonderful makeup, let me know so we can go on a shopping spree together!
Right so, I picked up these L'Oreal Paris hair products; all from the Elvive Extraordinary Oil. I picked up the Nourishing Shampoo and the Nourishing Conditioner, as well as the Nourishing Buttery Balm because I just finished my Pantene hair mask which I really loved, and so wanted to try out a new one.
I have been able to try these out since I bought them and I'm pretty happy with the result of my hair afterwards. My hair is usually slightly wavy, but nothing too hectic. I feel like when I blow dried my hair after using these three products, my hair had a lovely "bounce" to it. I had these light curls in some of my hair and I really really likes them. I'm keen to see the long-term effect this combination has on my hair.
All the L'Oreal products were on sale for 3 For 2! I LOVE the actual hair oil in this range, it is AMAZING! One of my holy grails. If you haven't tried it, go and BUY IT.
Then, right underneath the L'Oreal products were the Sorbet masks... which I definitely couldn't help myself with, I mean... face masks. 'Nough said.
I have actually tried the Cleansing Face Mask Spot & Oil Control one before, when I was younger, and so I'm interested to see how it reacts on my slightly older skin. I also got the the Smoothing Under Eye Mask Strengthening & Renewing. I really wanted to get this because I have super puffy under eyes, and it really gets to me (especially because one eye is puffier than the other... so annoying). So, I wanted to try this out to see if it will help de-puff my eyes and make me slightly happier with them. Then the last one I got was the Hydrating Foot Mask Softening and Moisturising. I am not the biggest fan on my feet, I shall admit, I also think they get rather dry. So I'm hoping this will help sort that out and possibly help make mine look a bit better. Although I'm a bit skeptical of putting these sock thingys on haha. Both the eye masks and foot mask, are new to me.
These were also on a 3 For 2 special at Clicks. I'm not sure if I would buy these if they weren't on special, because you only get one application per mask (because they're sheets), except for the eye mask, you get three.
And I rather enjoy the Clicks brand masks, as they're super affordable, and you get loads of applications from them. But we'll see what I have to say after using these Sorbet ones!
Then the few three things may have been picked up just because I wanted to try them out... lol. I have used the Clicks Skin Essential Facial Wipes before, and I just got a small pack because I'm always finding myself needing wipes but never having any!
Anyway, I picked up the Batiste Stylist XXL Volume Spray dry shampoo, because I've been styling my hair differently and I wanted to try using dry shampoo to give it more volume. I actually used it today for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised that it held my hair nicely after being teased for some extra lift. This had I think a 20%/30% discount, so I just got it to try out.
I then wanted to get the Garnier Sensitive Micellar Water because I saw it had a discount online, however when I went to find it, the sensitive one was all sold out (understandably, because it's bleeming amazing). So, instead I decided to just get the Pure Active Micellar Water because I hadn't tried it yet, and it was like R20+ cheaper, so why not?
Okay so that's my little Clicks hauls, of new products I'm excited to try out. I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope you're having a fantastic Wednesday!
What do you usually pick up when you only have a minutes to grab what you want? Let me know in the comments!
Thanks so much for reading x
