My Makeup Collection

Hello lovely humans, I hope you're all well.

I really wanted to do a post on my makeup collection and storage to share with you, because I thought it would be really fun. So, I grabbed my camera and laptop, and here we are.

You will soon come to realize that I really love makeup. I'm not too sure how or when I fell in love with it, I guess I sort of "took to it" if you know what I mean.

Unfortunately, me being a student, (and a very busy one at that) I don't have a lot of spending money, and I don't have time to get a job. So as much as I'd love to buy a good bag full of treats whenever I go to the shops, I can't. I just buy a few little things here and there.

Therefore, I don't have the biggest makeup collection in the world. Although I am slowly building it. When I do go buy new products, I try to purchase items that I've never used or that I've seen reviews on. It is taking a very long time, but it's getting somewhere and it's fun experimenting with new brands.

It's also amazing finding great dupes for high end makeup products; such as Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color lipsticks, they're great dupes for Mac lipsticks. I bought two shades from Wet n Wild; 'Mocha-licious' (dupe for Mac's 'Whirl'), and 'Bare It All' (dupe for 'Velvet Teddy'). I actually have 'Velvet Teddy', and 'Bare It All' looks EXACTLY like it, it's awesome! And they are only R50 or so from Clicks, not a ridiculous R230 or whatever Mac charges now, so it's a win win really.

My current collection isn't nearly like my dream collection (which is like all beauty guru's makeup collections), but I'm okay with that. I'm excited to see it expand with each post I write, so I'll be able to see my collection grow over time!
